Le'Veon Bell Signs with the Chiefs

Former Steelers and Jets all-pro running back, Le'Veon Bell, has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. This is coming less than a week after the New York Jets cut him. Bell committed high way robbery playing for the Jets, making $28,000,000 in just 18 games. What makes Le'Veon Bell so great is his patience and decisiveness. In order to be patient, Bell needs a really good offensive line. The Jets were lacking that offensive line and Adam Gase didn't know how to use Bell properly.

Bell signing with the Chiefs makes the rich, richer. Bell took a cheap deal to put himself in a position to win. He is making just $1 million to play for Kansas City. He is forming a duo with Clyde Edwards-Helaire who is a candidate for offensive rookie of the year. Since the Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes at quarterback, defenses won't be able to stack the box. The Chiefs also have a top 10 offensive line with Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz. This will make it easier to stay patient in the running game for Bell. Bell has been fantasizing going to the Chiefs since he was a free agent in 2019.

"Imagine if I go to KC! Imagine if I go to KC!" Bell said emphatically while working out with Chiefs DL Chris Jones.

The Chiefs already had the number one offense in the NFL without Bell. Adding Bell allows the Chiefs to get even more creative offensively. They may utilize even more 21 personnel (2 running backs 1 tight end) and resemble the Browns offense with Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb. The Chiefs can bring out the best in Bell. Bell is in the best shape of his career and should be able to capitalize on limited carries.

I expect Bell to start out as a role player for the Chiefs and have his workload increased after every game for Kansas City.
