Week 17 Game Predictions
Jets 23 @ Bills 20
The Bills aren't playing for anything but momentum right now and this game score can alter pending on Sean McDermott's plan to play starters this week. The Jets are going to want to finish the season strong and give the team good energy going into the offseason.
Game MVP: Robby Anderson
Deciding Factor: Sam Darnold's Turnover Ratio
Game Changer: Frank Gore
Bears 23 @ Vikings 16
Since the Vikings are not playing their starters this week, the Bears need to win this game. It would be just sad if they lost to Sean Mannion and Ameer Abdullah. Mitchell Trubisky is playing for job security and if he ends the season strong, I can see him back in blue and orange next season.
Game MVP: Mitchell Trubisky
Deciding Factor: Bears Turnovers
Game Changer: Kevin Stefanski's play calling aggression
Browns 20 @ Bengals 23
This game doesn't have any stakes in terms of playoffs, the only thing that matters in this game is the Brown's draft pick. The Bengals just saw their quarterback of the future put up 8 touchdowns in the college football playoffs, they are locked in to the number one pick. Since they're already locked into their pick, I can see them going all out when it comes to coaching. From trick plays to extreme aggression on 4th down, Zac Taylor will pull out all the stops.
Game MVP: Tyler Boyd
Deciding Factor: Andy Dalton's willingness to air the ball out
Game Changer: Jarvis Landry
Falcons 33 @ Buccaneers 20
This game will be fun to watch if anything. The Falcons are the hottest team in the NFL and Jameis Winston is the most interesting quarterback in the NFL. The Falcons saved their head coach's job with their play this past month and Jameis Winston can either be the best or worst quarterback in the NFL. The Biggest question is what Jameis will we see today?
Game MVP: Deion Jones
Deciding Factor: Jameis Winston's consistency
Game Changer: Ronald Jones
Saints 31 @ Panthers 21
The Saints are still playing for playoff seeding, so it's all gas, no breaks for New Orleans. The Panthers have been one of the league's worst teams in the past two months, but I still see Christian McCaffrey having a field day. McCaffrey is so dynamic and will be responsible for all three Panthers touchdowns. The Saints have been hot for the past couple of weeks now and I expect their streak to continue today.
Game MVP: Christian McCaffrey
Deciding Factor: Whether or not Sean Payton rests his starters
Game Changer: Brian Burns
Chargers 24 @ Chiefs 33
The two big headlines for this game is the Chiefs playoff seeding and Phillip Rivers' future. Rivers is the best quarterback's in the history of the Chargers and has meant so much to this organization. I think Phillip Rivers plays like how he's been playing his whole career, with no f**ks. He is going to sling it today, but it will be hard to be too successful against the Chiefs defense.
Game MVP: Demarcus Robinson
Deciding Factor: Phillip Rivers' interception count
Game Changer: Mike Williams
Packers 30 @ Lions 24
The Green Bay Packers are playing for playoff seeding, so I don't see them resting any of their starters. The Packers are going to get Aaron Jones going early today and I see him adding two more touchdowns to his total this year.
Game MVP: Aaron Jones
Deciding Factor: David Blough's decision making
Game Changer: Marvin Jones
Dolphins 17 @ Patriots 23
I think this will be one of the typical Ryan Fitzpatrick game where he'll show promise early in the game, but the Patriots will pull away after a string of Fitzpatrick turnovers.
Game MVP: Stephon Gilmore
Deciding Factor: Devante Parker's ability to win against man coverage
Game Changer: Ryan Fitzpatrick
Rams 30 @ Cardinals 20
I truly believe that if Kyler Murray is playing in this game, the Cardinals will win. The Cardinals played their best game of the season last week, but if the Cards are without their franchise quarterback, I don't think they beat the Rams.
Game MVP: Tyler Higbee
Deciding Factor: Kyler Murray's health
Game Changer: Kenyan Drake
Eagles 27 @ Giants 20
The Eagles are playing for the playoffs and with a chance for the division title. The Eagles were not supposed to win last week, they defied all odds and that shouldn't slow down today. Carson Wentz is playing at a really high level right now, and I can't see them losing when it all matters today.
Game MVP: Carson Wentz
Deciding Factor: Do the Eagles Receivers want to catch the ball today?
Game Changer: Darius Slayton
Steelers 23 @ Ravens 13
With the Ravens already locked into the one seed in the AFC, they won't have a lot of their star players playing this week. The Steelers will be scoreboard watching, but they are not a playoff team. I think the big difference in this game will be Mike Tomlin's coaching.
Game MVP: Devin Bush
Deciding Factor: Mike Tomlin's Coaching
Game Changer: RG3
Redskins 20 @ Cowboys 21
The Cowboys are all types of banged up right now, but I don't see Case Keenum winning in Jerry's world. The Cowboys need to win to have some what of a positive mindset heading into the offseason.
Game MVP: Michael Gallup
Deciding Factor: Next Man Up for the Cowboys
Game Changer: Adrian Peterson
Raiders 17 @ Broncos 27
I really like the way Drew Lock has been leading this football team, and I believe the Lock-Sutton connection will be evident today. I think the Raiders are ready to move to Vegas, and they're anxious to get rid of this season.
Game MVP: Drew Lock
Deciding Factor: Jon Gruden's Play calling
Game Changer: Tyrell Williams
Titans 24 @ Texans 13
With Deshaun Watson and Deandre Hopkins sitting on the bench, the Titans should take care of this game. Ryan Tannehill and AJ Brown have been one of the hottest tandems this past month and I believe their success continues today.
Game MVP: Ryan Tannehill
Deciding Factor: Texans benching their starters
Game Changer: AJ McCarron
Colts 28 @ Jaguars 20
The Colts played amazing last week versus the Panthers and Jacoby Brissett is playing for his job right now. I think Brissett has the best game of his career throwing 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. The Jags are playing terrible football right now, so I can't see this game going any other way.
Game MVP: Jacoby Brissett
Deciding Factor: Jacoby Brissett's motivation
Game Changer: DJ Chark
49ers 24 @ Seahawks 22
This is the last game of the decade, and I expect it to be a good one. These two teams are both banged up, the 49ers are without Tartt and Ford while the Seahawks are without Carson, Brown, and Prosise. I expect this game to come down to the wire, but my big difference makers are George Kittle and Emmanuel Sanders who didn't play the last time these two teams played.
Game MVP: Jimmy Garoppolo
Deciding Factor: The 49ers ball security
Game Changer: Jadeveon Clowney
