Browns: With the first pick they get their quarterback who they have built around this offseason. After they trade the 4th pick for the 7th pick, they end up getting the best corner in the draft to upgrade the secondary. Then they get a nice edge rusher in Carter and help out their o-line with Connor Williams. They close out the first round by getting a ball hawk with Jessie Bates.
Giants: After trading the 2nd pick to the Bills they get, in my opinion, the second best lineman in the draft. After securing the offensive line they need someone to run through them. Sony Michel averaged about 8 yards per carry and can be a work horse back and be a perennial player for them. In round two they get one of the highest risers in the draft with Jaire Alexander. Alexander is capable of being a lockdown corner and is a steal at 34.
Jets: With the third pick the Jets get their franchise quarterback and my number one quarterback in the draft. The Cali kid ends up in New York and will help the Jets win some games next season.
Broncos: After a trading back to the 15th pick the Broncos go "Big Ugly" by getting Mike McGlinchey to play on the other side of Garrett Boles. After going offensive line in the first round they got defensive line in round 2. They get a very talented player in Maurice Hurst who will be a day 2 pick because of uncertainties with his health. James Washington will be a young target for Keenum who will learn from some of the veteran receivers in Denver.
Colts: The Colts get one of the best Defensive Ends in Bradley Chubb to get after Deshaun Watson and the other AFC South quarterbacks. In the second round they get some help for Andrew Luck starting off with a running back. Jones was one of my favorite running backs on film and will provide a check down option for Luck. To protect luck they get a big time offensive tackle with Orlando Brown. The Colts also need some help in the secondary and get a corner to pair up with Quincy Wilson in Isaiah Oliver.
Buccaneers: The Buccaneers are going to be aggressive at the running back position and that is exactly what they are doing by trading up for the best player in the draft with Saquon Barkley. They provide Jamies with a perennial all-pro and get the best running back I've ever seen coming out of college.
Bears: The Bears get their guy in Quenton Nelson. He is the best offensive lineman I've ever seen come out of college and will protect their franchise quarterback in Mitchell Trubisky. After protecting Trubisky in the first round they help in the second by drafting Anthony Miller. Miller is my favorite receiver in the draft and I'm surprised he's not getting more hype.
49ers: At the 14th pick the 49ers get a player that will fit their LEO position similar to Yannick Ngakoue. The 49ers then trade back into the first round to get a big redzone target in Courtland Sutton to help Jimmy Garoppolo out. In the second round the 49ers get a huge lineman in Kolton Miller who can learn from Joe Staley.
