5 Players Who Will Catch Fire for The 2nd Half of the Season

1. Aaron Rodgers Packers

When your backs are against the wall, there is no other player I'd want on my team besides Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers is starting to get a little hot after that amazing comeback against the 49ers. Rodgers is truly one of a kind and I think he will emerge as the best quarterback in football once again. This week he is coming off a bye week and has a very difficult second half stretch, but then again he is Aaron Rodgers. I think Rodgers is going to prove that he's the best quarterback in football and ball out in the final 9 games of the season.

2. Carson Wentz Eagles

Right now I am on my couch watching Carson Wentz slowly carve up the elite Jaguars defense. Carson Wentz is special, there is no other way to put it. Carson Wentz is the best quarterback in football right now and I think he will be a part of the MVP conversation. I have no doubt in my mind that the Eagles will make the playoffs and I think it will all be thanks to Carson Wentz. Coming into today they had blown a 17-0 lead against the Carolina Panthers. That game was their wake up call... Now the Eagles are heating up all thanks to Carson Wentz who is back in MVP form. I just don't know how he does it.

3. Deshaun Watson Texans

Deshaun Watson threw for 5 touchdowns on Thursday Night Football and is getting better each week he plays. Watson is starting to feed Deandre Hopkins more and more which is obviously helping. He is on his game and is using his legs. We are starting to see his electricity that he showed us his rookie year. While it will hurt that Will Fuller is out for the season, the run game is developing which opens up the play-action passing game, as well as the quarterback bootleg. This is money time for Deshaun Watson.

4. Ezekiel Elliott Cowboys

Zeke has struggled lately, that is the truth, but I still trust him. He is the heart and soul of the Dallas Cowboys offense, and he is who they look to when they are in trouble. The addition of Amari Cooper brings a threat over the top which will provide stress to the opposing defenses. I think the addition of Cooper will not open up the playbook allowing Zeke to get the ball in creative ways. Zeke is in for a storm and I think he will turn up for the second half of the season.

5. Antonio Brown Steelers

Brown has had a relatively quiet year so far, coming off this bye week I think he'll start to play better than ever. Ben Roethlisberger is getting to that time of year where he begins to just throw it up to AB, and that is when he's at his best. No matter if Le'Veon Bell is on the offense or not, the run game is a threat. James Conner has had a great year which will make the defense want to come up and leave Antonio one-on-one. AB worked tremendously hard all season and it's so he can be well conditioned for later in the year when they are down in the trenches. AB will start to see his hard work paying off.
