NFL HONORS PREDICTIONS
MVP/OPOY: Carson Wentz QB Eagles
I think this is the year Carson Wentz redeems himself. He was robbed of the MVP award in 2017, now it's his turn to take the award back. I think 5,000 passing yards and 40 passing touchdowns is a realistic goal for Wentz. This will be a big year for the Eagles and it's all due to number 11.
Runner Up: Baker Mayfield QB Browns
DPOY: Darius Leonard LB Colts
With Andrew Luck retiring just two weeks before the season starts, everybody is counting the Colts out. I think Darius Leonard is going to bring some swagger to the Colts defense and will put up legendary numbers. Leonard is going to be a maniac this year.
Runner Up: Myles Garrett EDGE Browns
OROY: David Montgomery RB Bears
We didn't see that much of Mr. Montgomery in week one, but he was a force when he was on the field. I think he should become the full time starter sooner than later and will be a big reason if the Bears make the playoffs or not. I think Montgomery is going to be the Bears starting running back for years to come.
Runner Up: Miles Sanders RB Eagles
DROY: Johnathan Abram S Raiders
This is my guy, straight up. I've loved Johnathan Abram since Mississippi State and I love that he's a Raider. He's going to be a leader on this defense and will be a bright spot for this inexperienced Raiders defense. Abram is going to lay the boom on a weekly basis and he'll be a stud in his rookie season.
Runner Up: Nick Bosa DE 49ers
CPOY: Le'Veon Bell RB Jets
Le'Veon Bell is so juiced up, I think he is going to have a legendary comeback season. He is completely healthy and is going to be running hard, while staying patient. He's going to be so, so good. Bell is going to pickup where he left off and is going to re-emerge as a top 3 running back in the NFL.
Runner Up: Jimmy Garoppolo QB 49ers
