Jamal Adams Gets Traded to the Seahawks

Not often do you see a true win-win trade between two teams. While normally I wouldn't recommend any team trade two first round picks for a strong safety, this isn't just any ordinary strong safety. Jamal Adams is a perennial all-pro who is more than just a strong safety. Jamal Adams is an absolute baller who can transcend a defense. He's going to be the leader of the legion of boom 2.0. He brings the boom like Kam Chancellor but has the versatility of Earl Thomas. While Jamal and Earl play completely different roles for their defense, they each have a selfless, versatile leadership role for their defense. They each talk a ton of trash and bring confidence to their secondaries. Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs form a top 3 safety duo in the league and now the Seahawks have a way of "containing" George Kittle. George Kittle is the best tight end in the NFL and there really is no way of stopping him, but with Jamal Adams Seattle has a way of holding him to a medium.  With Shaquil Griffen, Jamal Adams, and Quandre Diggs, the Seahawks have a legit shot of recreating the legion of boom.

The Seahawks aren't the only ones who benefited from this trade. It was obvious that Jamal Adams didn't want to play for Adam Gase and Joe Douglas. The Jets were able to trade a player who didn't want to play for them for two first round picks, a third round pick, and Bradley McDougald. I don't see the Jets winning anything with Adam Gase, I think they should go full rebuild mode just like the Raiders. They should build some draft capital and restart. This was a true win-win trade and both fan bases should be thrilled.
