Top 5 Quarterbacks Heading into 2017

Let me guess, if you're reading this article, you are the educated fantasy player, the one who is so anxious for the season to start or the one who needs revenge on the champion... Am I correct? Okay good! I'm just like you! I am so ready for this season to start and I will help those in need of revenge or urging for the season to start. I'm sure you are very smart when it comes to fantasy, because you're reading this but here it is.

Quarterbacks

1. Aaron Rodgers Packers

2. Andrew Luck Colts

3. Tom Brady Patriots

4. Derek Carr Raiders

5. Drew Brees Saints

Here's Why Aaron Rodgers is number 1, he's had the most fantasy points in the NFL from the past 2/3 seasons. He doesn't seem to be slowing down and still has weapons like Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Ty Montgomery, and now has Martellus Bennett on his side. If I were you, I'd expect Aaron Rodgers to put up wonders for your fantasy team in an MVP type of season. At number 2 we have more of a surprise, the kid, Andrew Luck. At just 27 years old, Luck has been putting up insane fantasy numbers when healthy. This year he's got an improved offensive line with Gore and Rookie Marlon Mack, he's also got a ton of weapons at wide receiver if it's TY Hilton, Donte Moncrief, Kamar Aiken, or at Tight End with Jack Doyle. I really see Luck breaking out this year and I would draft him as high as the 4th round in your fantasy drafts. Coming in at number 3 we have the goat, Tom Brady, in fantasy I think by now I should have learned not to doubt Brady but I still am. You can make a case that the Patriots are the Warriors of the NFL, they added speedy wide receiver Brandin Cooks from New Orleans to join Edelman, Amendola, Gronk, and so many other talented pass catchers. They lost LeGarrette Blount and added Rex Burkhead/Mike Gillislee two pass catchers coming out of the back field. But now I think teams will expect Brady to throw a lot more and their defense's will be ready for it. Realistically you can draft Brady in the 6th round and expect another pro bowl season out of him. Derek Carr is ranked number 4 because of how much potential he provides. He has got players around him if it's Cooper, Crabtree, Jared Cook, Beast Mode, or that amazing Offensive Line to help him and his recovery off his fractured fibula. I think you can snatch Carr late like in the 9th or 10th round but he has the same value as Brady and should be going in the 6th or 7th round. Let's meet the newest fantasy god... His name is Drew Brees. Every year Drew puts up insane numbers for your fantasy team, and now he has his first actual number 1 type of receiver since Jimmy Graham (at tight end). I think you can expect Michael Thomas to insure himself into one of the top receivers in the NFL, I really think Thomas will have a Mike Evans type of break out year. Drew will always be Drew and you can always trust him on your fantasy team.
