Brandin Cooks Traded to the Rams

The NBA has the Warriors, the MLB has the Yankees, the MLS has FC Barcelona, and now the NFL has the Rams. You can call them super teams, championship favorites, or whatever you want. The Rams are BACK! Now I don't know if they will be as good as they were in 1999 but they will be up there. They are now favorites in the NFC and it seems like they're going to be dominating their division. Sean McVay and Les Snead deserve all the credit and they are making LA a football town.

Winners

Jared Goff- the Rams are surrounding Jared Goff with weapons that can get them to the Super Bowl. I expect Goff to be an MVP candidate and be a top 5 quarterback next season. The Rams get a deep threat and a true number one receiver. Goff will air it out next season to one of the fastest players in the NFL.

Patriots- While the Patriots do lose a number one receiver and a great player, they were unlikely to resign him next season anyways. Bill Belichick doesn't pay top money and that is what Cooks will be asking for. So the Patriots get a first round pick for a player they weren't looking to sign for the long term.

The AFC East- The Jets, Bills, and Dolphins must be saying "Phew" right now. They get a top tier receiver out of their division and won't have to worry about him for a while. Cooks torched defenses in the AFC East and now they don't have to stress.

Sean McVay- Coach Sean McVay is a mastermind when it comes to play calling and now he gets a new shiny weapon to work with. I think McVay will use Cooks all over the place and will light up the score boards.

Losers

The Rest of the NFC West- While the 49ers are one of the league's hottest teams they need to  make some big moves to get on the same level as the Rams. The Seahawks are declining and the Cardinals need to get an other quarterback. If the other NFC West teams want to compete in the division they need to add some more weapons. (The 49ers are probably the closest)

Fantasy Football Players- Gurley, Kupp, Woods, Higbee... all of these players' stocks have gone down. The good news for players is that Goff will be outstanding next year and Cooks will most likely be more consistent.

The Rams Cap Space- While Goff, Gurley, Cooks, and Aaron Donald are all on their rookie contracts they all need to get paid eventually. The Rams are in win-now mentality and this is their big year to shine!
