Best Fantasy Starts of Week 6

Alexander Mattison RB Vikings

Alexander Mattison is my week 6 fantasy start of the week. With Dalvin Cook being inactive due to a groin injury, Mattison finally has his opportunity. Mattison is one of the best back up running backs in the NFL and he should have 20+ carries against the Falcons in week 6. The Falcons just fired Dan Quinn and have arguably the worst defense in the NFL. I expect Mattison to have a handful of explosive runs against this terrible Falcons defense. I also expect the Vikings to get up early against Atlanta and in order to run the clock out, they will feed Mattison. Keep an eye out if Mattison tries to hurdle someone. Mattison has some of the best hops in the league.

Predicted Stats: 110 total yards 2 touchdowns

Deandre Hopkins WR Cardinals

I expect Deandre Hopkins to have one of the best games in his career. The Cowboys have the worst defense in the NFL and haven't been able to stop any teams number one wide receiver. Odell Beckham, DK Metcalf, and Calvin Ridley have all put up 100+ yards and two touchdowns against the Cowboys defense (I'm counting the DK Metcalf's fumble at the one yard line as a touchdown). Deandre Hopkins has been the best receiver in the league this year and has been a top three receiver in each of the past three years. Hopkins will be un-guardable on Monday Night Football.

Predicted Stats: 10 catches, 153 yards, 2 touchdowns

Deandre Hopkins
DeVante Parker WR Dolphins

DeVante Parker is one of the most talented receivers in the NFL and the Jets don't have anyone who will be able to cover him. Last week, 49ers CB Brian Allen had to cover him and he's still having nightmares a week later. Parker is going to absolutely torch the Jets defense. The Jets are a circus show right now and I expect Ryan Fitzpatrick to get some divisonal revenge. I think Parker ends up in the end zone twice this week as he is starting to go on a little run this year.

Predicted Stats: 8 catches, 115 yards, 2 touchdowns

Robert Tonyan TE Packers

The last time we saw Robert Tonyan play for the Packers, he scored three touchdowns on Monday Night Football against the Falcons. This week he has a really tough matchup. He will be covered by Devin White and Antoine Winfield Jr. Winfield Jr. is one of the smartest rookies I've ever seen come out of the draft. He understands the game and knows what the offense wants to accomplish. Today is going to be a chess matchup between Winfield Jr. and Aaron Rodgers. Since Winfield Jr. is just a rookie, I expect Rodgers to win this matchup. I expect to see Tonyan in the end zone at least once this week. Tonyan has been one of the best surprises this year and I expect his success to continue today.

Predicted Stats: 5 catches, 70 yards, 1 touchdown

Robert Tonyan
Mark Andrews TE Ravens

Mark Andrews is a top three tight end and he's playing against one of the worst defenses when it comes to covering tight ends. The Eagles gave up three touchdowns to Tyler Higbee and over 180 yards to George Kittle. Andrews is Ravens Quarterback, Lamar Jackson's favorite target. Andrews is special after the catch and a hard player to cover. He's both big and fast and should be able to get 'jiggy' against the Eagles defense. I expect to see Andrews in the end zone this week and have a big role in the offense against Philadelphia.

Predicted Stats: 6 catches 105 yards 2 touchdowns
